I have yet to be in agreement with the CRITICS who make or break a show. I, and everyone I spoke to that watched Falcone thought it was an extremely well cast and played series. All of us were excitingly hoping it would become a weekly series. I think this series, especially while not being shown on PAY TV, where the x-rated language would have had a more definite impact on todays audience, still gave us a dramatic look into the world of "WISEGUYS" and GOODGUYS. As for Joe Falcone, played by Jason Gedrick, I know guys who look like high schoolers who are in his field. Titus Welliver was excellent and Lillo Broncato was superb, as was Sunny Marinelli. When isn't Eric Roberts right on. The remaining cast were all to be congratulated. I know Falcone has been compared to the highly acclaimed Sopranos, which I never miss and am addicted to, but take away the language and who knows where that show might be.
I'm still hoping CBS (or another network) will bring Falcone back.
I've rarely seen such excellence as the understated performance Titus Welliver turns in as Sonny Napoli. What an expressive face! And great body language. He could carry the show by himself, but obviously the play off Jason Gedrick's Joe Pistone is key to the suspense.
Stay tuned. Maybe Falcone will return.

I have seen the Sopranos and other mob-esque shows, but this show is first-class. The show is based on facts and uses emotionally charged characters, interesting plot, fluid dialog, and outstanding cinematography. I hope that it will be turned into a series. For those of you that didn't see it, you missed out.
I've seen Falcone. I thought that the actors did a very good job presenting the characters. I looked forward to the next evening and what would be on it next. I hope they make it a series, since we truly do not know if Joe continued on the case. The actors made me feel as if I was part of the scene. I intend to purchase Falcone when and if it comes on video. It was a typical mob story but with a twist. One of the best mob stories as far as written, produced, directed, etc that I have seen.
I only wish to say is: I enjoyed this movie very much. After a long day, I looked forward to it each evening. I love the drama, suspense, theme, ect. . . Plain and simple. . . Put the movie back on ! ! every night of the week. Without it, there is no sense in watching television at night.

- TriviaThis series is based on the book "Donnie Brasco: My Undercover Life in the Mafia", written by FBI agent Joseph D. Pistone with Richard Woodley, about the true story of Pistone's undercover work in two New York City Mafia families as a low-level jewel thief named Donnie Brasco. The book was previously the basis for the movie Donnie Brasco (1997). Pistone's alias in the series was changed to "Joe Falcone" for legal reasons.
