Legendary

A great comedy, built around the idea that people who moved from the rural areas to the big city often ended up living the worst of both worlds. This is a comedy that operates on several levels, but ultimately rests upon the talent of Zoran Radmilovic, who played, and I am sure to a large degree created the character of 'Radovan III'. The play is virtually his show, with the supporting cast being literally reduced to support.

Great fun

The play can be seen as a drama about the misfortune of farmers who moved to big cities and ended up alienated. However, it is first and foremost a comedy. It's just lots of fun. There are certain things that in my opinion don't work perfectly, but this is due to the fact that the original screenplay has been altered to such a degree that the play became somewhat disjointed.

Everyone should see this!

Radovan iii is a play written by Dusan Kovacevic .Mayor role is played by one of the best actor ever in ex Yu,Zoran Radmilovic.It is a very complex play,and very tragic and above all very comical.Thanks to Zoran"s gift for improvisation,play originally lasted for 1.5 hour,used to last for 3,5 hour. Basik plot is war between two families ,who live in the same building. It is very important to know why!Vilotici,whom we don't see in a play,have a son who has made pregnant Zoran:s daughter Georgina 10 years ago(and she is still pregnant),and left abroad.There is variety of comical situation,but someone who is not from ex Yu will be very hard to understand.Anyway everyone should see this play and to try to understand,because it is a masterpiece!!!

In each enactment of "Radovan III", Zoran Radmilovic used to improvise a lot and make up his own lines of text, depending on inspiration. Sometimes he used to make other cast members laugh so hard that they would forget their own lines, as could be seen in this recording too.
