A whole story revolves around a precious and holy relationship between a dedicated teacher and his student who is very revolting, aggressive and hyper egoistical.
The student never goes against his teachers words and thus the story goes on.
A beautifully made movie.
Very strong characters involved as is common in Puttanna Kanagal's movies.
My favourite part is how beautifully the relationship between student (Ramachari) and teacher (Chamaiah Maestru) is depicted in the movie.
How badly i wish we had more movies from Puttanna Kanagal.

A Story of an arrogant young student who falls in love with his friend's sister and the story ensues, portraying the issues that played a major role in the society like caste-ism, a take on human trafficking and such issues...the script and the dialogs are very gripping and powerful...!!And the actors have performed exceptionally well, which is needless to say, this being a Puttanna Kanagal movie!! And this is the first Kannada movie to use a slow motion camera. The Songs in the movie are well presented and arguably inspirational!!
Overall, I think it safe to say that it's a master-piece...they don't make movies like these anymore!!! Old School is the best school and Puttana Kanagal is the headmaster of that school!!

A well-written mixture of drama and romance. Set in Chitradurga, this movie revolves around the bond between the protagonist and his teacher.
