Intimacy without an existentialist approach

The story of a woman who abandons everything and everyone to discover herself is certainly human and shoud be captivating. That didn't happen. The harsh light of photo studios, the competitive world of professional models, the harsh voices of advertising directors, the fight for a photo on the cover of a magazine... Everything went down trhe drain. It is in that cold environment of fashion shows and advertising that the story of Vera and Jorge unfolds. She, a fashion model, and he, a renowned advertising executive. Michael Sarne directed with indifference and with no humor a woman's struggle to free herself from a cynical and empty past.
