A director can never make a much better movie than this. The mother's love for her children is the main highlight of the movie. The mother was born n brought up as an orphan and she doesn't want her children, who were not born as orphans to become orphans all of a sudden. The alcoholic husband depicts a typical Kerala common man.In the worst case scenario the husband gave up his habit of drinking and it clearly shows his love for Annie, his beloved wife. The mother was not ready to surrender to the disease without making her children's future safe. She was ready to sacrifice all her wealth, her four children and this is what she owns in her entire life.Three of her children were adopted but the disabled child remains. The child was happy spending his life with his mother. At the end of the movie, all the four children were crying seeing their mother's funeral and each of them were taken back by their adoptive parents.Anyhow the two brothers were united and it brings happiness and peace of mind to the viewers :)
Movies like these catch your attention when you skip channels. A work of art is not easy to miss.
This is a movie which may not appeal to a hedonistic generation. There is humour initially but later the movie focuses on the trauma that a family has to go through because of certain misfortunes.
Each character has relevance and all actors have played their parts convincingly including the child artistes. I was especially moved by the character of the little boy in crutches towards the end.
I almost knew while watching this movie that this is a work of Sibi Malayil. His quintessential style is evident in the subject and the handling of the movie.

This is a Malayalam language film starring Madhavi and Murali.
It is a very painful and tearful watch about the harsh realities of lives. The message is to celebrate your good times and bonds within the family.
Two orphans fall in love and get married. They have four young children. As fate would have it, the husband dies in an altercation while the mother is terminally ill. To avoid her children also to grow up as orphans, she tries her best to get them adopted. The challenges she faces through all this is the most painful and touching part of the film.
However it ends in a positive note as the mother has told the elder sibling to be in touch with the other three and keep the bond alive. And likewise when the disabled child among them who wasn't getting adopted due to that is finally taken in by the couple who adopt his twin brother.
Very touching performances ensure you will end up in tears multiple times during the film. It's a must watch, on how despite the toughest of situations, God and good nature will work things out for the future.
