A delicate little story about trust, finding love, and chess.

A lovely little film with much to say about modern dating relationships, CheckMating is beautifully shot, complexly portrayed and delicately balanced. With only its jazz score and not a shred of dialogue, it is plays to any culture and in any language with equal familiarity as to the situations and roles presented. Very highly recommended.
