    Man this is really bad!

One of the worst things I've ever seen! The "god channel" made this show to make young viewers religious. Just a bunch of Christian propaganda. You can see Bibleman fight "The lie","The sin","The hypocrite" and many other "bad" things. I saw it and I'm not brainwashed...yet. It would maybe work if they actually spend some money and made a good show out of it, but still it can be very fun to watch...

    well intentioned, but lacking relevance!

Although this show is jam-packed with scripture, I have to say that I am afraid that this show is making a mockery of Christianity. As Christians, we should be trying to put truth in media, yes, but I do not understand how creating a character like "Bible Man" can be helpful to portraying messages of truth. It is just hard for me to watch yet another show that is so heavily drenched in Christian subculture that it is not sensitive to the non-Christian ears that we could be witnessing to in more creative, loving, and less in-your-face kind of ways. Christianity is a lifestyle and a personal relationship with God, not a battle against the unsaved.

Outstanding example, and fun for children!

My son grew up on Bible man, and loved it! He wore the cape and mask and sword for a very long time as a little boy! It was so adorable! This series needs to be remade, or republished again!

    What are you talking about?!?

This movie/series is horrible. It has horrific acting, plot, and effects. If I wanted to teach my children about God, I would, as others mentioned, get Veggietales. Not this stuff. There are so many inconsistencies in the story and ideas; so much of it makes no sense or is completely stupid. The unrealistic situations that Bibleman's little kiddie pals are stuck in don't help either. It also taught me that even if it's bad to lie, cheat, be prideful, or be angry, it's just fine to fight people with lightsabers! I mean, there are so many people commenting on this movie, and we're all saying basically the same thing, but with even more reasons to hate it tagged on. If you actually watch an episode of this stuff, you will see what we are all talking about. Trust me, you don't want to see this, and your kids don't either.

Incredibly bad all the way round

Let's see..horribly overacted, extremely corny, overly preachy, with second rate special effects-and this is considered good television by some?? It's even worse than Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and that's pretty bad. It's no surprise that a station as chintzy as TBN would air a show like this. Willie Aames must have lost what little mind he had to create and star in this piece of junk. If I were a child this would discourage me from Christianity, not encourage me. How does anyone expect to turn people to the Lord with second-rate rubbish like this? I notice some of the comments say things like 'well, it may be corny, but at least it's family friendly'--is that what Christians have to settle for?? I would recommend reading a book to your children and turning this junk off. They will gain more from books in the long run than they ever would from TBN.

    • Trivia
'Bibleman' wasn't the first time Willie Aames played a heroic character with a glowing yellow energy weapon on children's television. He also provided the voice of Hank the Ranger on the animated 'Dungeons & Dragons' show in 1983.
