Bibleman is an awful way to teach our kids Christian values!

Bibleman is truly a sorry/awful way for any Christian parent to teach their children any sort of values. Veggies Tales has stories with characters(cute veggies), and lots of other Christian animated videos. Got this for my son for Christmas(2006)this year, because I thought it would be more mature for his age(9). Boy was I wrong. He went back to the Veggie Tales, & The Pond, after only 15 minutes of watching BIBLEMAN. It was such a waste of money, and the time. I had to force my son into watching BIBLEMAN. I tried everything, to try to get him to watch it longer. He politely asked me to please put in the VEGGIE TALE video so he could watch that one.

    Man this is really bad!

One of the worst things I've ever seen! The "god channel" made this show to make young viewers religious. Just a bunch of Christian propaganda. You can see Bibleman fight "The lie","The sin","The hypocrite" and many other "bad" things. I saw it and I'm not brainwashed...yet. It would maybe work if they actually spend some money and made a good show out of it, but still it can be very fun to watch...

    well intentioned, but lacking relevance!

Although this show is jam-packed with scripture, I have to say that I am afraid that this show is making a mockery of Christianity. As Christians, we should be trying to put truth in media, yes, but I do not understand how creating a character like "Bible Man" can be helpful to portraying messages of truth. It is just hard for me to watch yet another show that is so heavily drenched in Christian subculture that it is not sensitive to the non-Christian ears that we could be witnessing to in more creative, loving, and less in-your-face kind of ways. Christianity is a lifestyle and a personal relationship with God, not a battle against the unsaved.

Outstanding example, and fun for children!

My son grew up on Bible man, and loved it! He wore the cape and mask and sword for a very long time as a little boy! It was so adorable! This series needs to be remade, or republished again!

Incredibly bad all the way round

Let's see..horribly overacted, extremely corny, overly preachy, with second rate special effects-and this is considered good television by some?? It's even worse than Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and that's pretty bad. It's no surprise that a station as chintzy as TBN would air a show like this. Willie Aames must have lost what little mind he had to create and star in this piece of junk. If I were a child this would discourage me from Christianity, not encourage me. How does anyone expect to turn people to the Lord with second-rate rubbish like this? I notice some of the comments say things like 'well, it may be corny, but at least it's family friendly'--is that what Christians have to settle for?? I would recommend reading a book to your children and turning this junk off. They will gain more from books in the long run than they ever would from TBN.
