CAGED WOMAN is among the dullest of porn films dealing with the subject of women in stir. These anonymous filmmakers presumed that an occasional top shot, giving a God's eye view of people having sex, defines creativity.
Format is idiotic in the extreme. A succession of women arrive at an office where two drowsy guards admit them to a cell, and each yields a simulated sex vignette. That's all she wrote.
This baby is so cheap that a single cell, with linoleum flooring and a very squeaky cot serving as bed, is used over and over to representing the "many" cells of the jail. No effort is expended in any department, as basically the goal is to crank out an hour of footage, quality be damned. It was a Cosmos production, cheapies made to feed an 8th Ave. movie house with some home-grown material.
The cast is listless and does their groping in zombie like fashion, the opposite of a turn-on. Most recognizable thesp, buck-toothed blonde Terri Johnson, really seems out to lunch.
Fran Carston with swollen brown nipples is perhaps the movie's highlight. Back in the day I suspect that about five seconds of XXX fellatio footage as an unidentified MILF actress gets carried away on camera was probably the film's drawing card. She manages to evoke actual erections from both guards, unusual during this softcore era.
