    Cybersix, a sensation.

I came across a Cybersix promo by chance one night while browsing through tv channels. As a long time fan of action based/Hero cartoons I was instantly intrigued. It's nice to see a female hero with her own cartoon, instead of her being just a sidekick or contemporary of a male superhero. Despite the fact that she wears a form fitting black rubber outfit and stilettos to fight evil, she's portrayed as athletic instead of sexy.

Somehow by just wearing a man's clothes, flicking her hair back and putting on a pair of glasses she upholds her gender bending masquerade by day. Lucas is either too wrapped up in his own little world to notice that Cybersix and Adrian look strangely alike, or he's the dumbest biology professor I've ever seen.

    A Wonderful Cartoon.

I really enjoy watching Cybersix. She's my all time favourite anime superhero. When I first saw Cybersix I thought to myself: now here's a cartoon character that I can relate to. A woman trying to make it in a man's world. Just like Batman, Superman and Wonderwoman she's trying to conceal her identity from people she trusts as her alter-ego. The only one knowing her true identity being Data-7. It must be a tough life for her. Cybersix is the character that can be best described as a fun character with lots of charisma. I only wish we could have found out what happened to Cybersix and Von Reichter after the floating fortress exploded.

    Short n Sweet

Cybersix had that touch of light heartedness which was enjoyable to watch. It was really unfortunate that the series had to end with just one season. It felt like so many things were left unexplored, and it could have easily become an adult animation show by just taking the plot elements a notch up. I wish the series get a reboot in the future.

Glad to have discovered this series.

Cybersix is a well made series that sadly didn't continue after one season of only thirteen episodes. The animation is beautiful, the action was good, the characters were cool and the music was good.

The villainous José was wonderfully over-the-top as the main villain set in place by his father who runs everything behind a layer of mystery. José may be evil, but you have no doubt about how evil the father is, because every time he turns up everyone looks terrified.

If there in any way could be created more episodes and the series could continue, it could have been one of the big hidden gems of the 90's. What we got was really good and promising, so why it was cancelled I don't know.

    What makes us human?

Cybersix is smart, beautiful, strong, sexy, brave-- the perfect woman. . . but she also happens to be a genetically-engineered experiment created in a mad scientist's lab. Because of this, she spends the whole series questioning her own humanity, while making us all think about what makes one human. This is a great show that simply never found its niche. It was a children's show animated in Japan, for Canada, based on an adult's Argentenian comic. It seemed to have been marketed to young boys, for some reason, though I think it would've been nice to bill it as an empowerment tool for young girls. . . or more profitable to make it more mature, marketed to a teen and adult audience. . . but it's a nice show with a lot of potential (and a small but loyal cult following) as it is. Way too late to hope for season 2, but could someone maybe throw us a movie, sequel/spin off series, video game, merchandise, anything? Animated or live, I'm not picky. *angelic smile*

In the original Cybersix comic book, it was alluded that Von Reichter and Jose were Nazis. This is why Jose would always march around like an SS soldier.
