Great show that has won a lot of awards.

I have been watching it for 5 years now. If your a football fan and want to here stories from the actual players different from what you'd see watching the games then give it a try. I think it's actually one of the longest running TV shows there are. You can see it on espn.

Great show that goes behind the scenes of "NFL" history and a look at football life from all aspects.

For years "NFL Films Presents" has been one of the best and well known football shows for "NFL" fans it's the one part of football history that belongs in everyone's family. The now late Ed and Steve Sabol started this historical icon of a series. As the show always had the best behind the scenes highlights of on the field "NFL" action from touchdown drives to on the field mishaps and bloopers. Plus interviews with players and coaches were highly memorable and off the field stories of players dealing with life and family and facing social issues were well done. And some of the narrators like the great Harry Kalas were god sent and brought pleasure to the ears. Overall wonderful and super football show that entertained "NFL" fans with action, highlights, and touching stories. Plus it's great the series is still going on generation to generation as "NFL" highlights and great stories go on and on.

    • Trivia
"NFL Films Presents" (1982-) is one of two programs that splintered off from what was initially known as "This Is the NFL." That weekly highlight show produced by NFL Films has been presented under various names since its inception. The title often changed in accordance with the program's changing sponsors. Over the years, the show has been known by different titles: "This Is the NFL" (1965-1966); "This Week in the NFL" (1967-1968); "This Week in Pro Football" (1969-1976); "This Is the NFL" again (1977-1980); "NFL Review and Preview" (1980-1981); and "NFL Week in Review" (1982-1986). In 1977, NFL Films transformed a version of this program into "Inside the NFL."

Additionally, in 1982, they launched this magazine-style program based on this format. Similar to "This is the NFL," this magazine show has had various titles over time, including "NFL Weekly Magazine" (1982-1985), "NFL Films Presents" (1985), "This Is the NFL" (1986-1994), and eventually reverting to "NFL Films Presents" from 1995 on.
