An Excellent movie featuring mohanlal as aniyan thampuran who is innocent and living only for his family Atlast forced by the discrepancies of life he is forced to suicide in a childish way.its so touching. The Old family is taken to a crisis by Chettan thampuran who spoiled all the resources and died accidentally by snake bite. The meeting with the Poet is accidental and portraying of his life and view also matters in the story. Aniyan's wife played an excellent role as she even waits without going to her old lover. she still remains without again marrying along with thoughts of aniyan.Direction is superb such that all walks and problems of life is shown in a perfect manner.
