WOW! We have to watch this guy...

I saw this film at a private screening in the Cannes Film Festival 2000. Rod Gailes is someone to watch. The film is touching and sweet as well as funny and well acted. Mr. Gailes has obviously picked up a few tricks of the trade from Spike Lee and knows how to use them to his advantange! Good job Rod!

Unbelievably Touching

I was also fortunate enough to watch this short film in Cannes. Don't be fooled by the short running time-- this movie is amazingly touching. Rod Gailes is a talent of tremendous sensitivity and promise. Excellent work here. I cannot wait to see his first feature! 10/10
