Simply splendid!!!

Nothing more to say about this movie than how absolutely I adore people who come up with ideas like these.

To put young George Lucas into college and show his inspirations for all the famous Star Wars characters is such a simple idea that it is pure genius. I especially liked the Han Solo and Chewbacca inspiration - way cool!

One of the 5 best shorts I have ever seen.

What an excellent piece of work Joe Nussbaum needs a feature directing gig. I loved it. Download and watch as soon as you can. It is just fantastic. I laughed all the way through. I am usually pretty unimpressed with shorts, but this is just totally entertaining. I watched it a few times now, and it has great detail. Excellent parody. Large KUDOS!

A great short

This is one of the funniest short films I have ever seen. The references to Star Wars are great and the ending is just perfect. If you like a spoof with a little intelligence you will definitely like this short. Great.

Creative Film. Would have liked to see more of it.

This was a great short. It was creative and funny and I especially enjoyed all the parodies of Star Wars and other works by Lucas, including Howard the Duck. Would this have worked just as a regular feature film? I'm not sure, but all 8 minutes of it is very enjoyable.

Very charming

Maybe it's because it doesn't overstay its welcome (far from it with that tiny running time) but "George Lucas in Love" is a delight; a playful look at how Lucas ironed out his script for "Star Wars". Key elements from the trilogy existed all around him as eccentric classmates and professors on the grounds of USC. It's a novel concept for an indie short film, and the homage is loving to the point of being innocuous. Put another way, the references are inventive and it makes for something refreshing and very funny.

A great spin on the mythos.
