Stephanie Swift epitomizes the talented, attractive actress who succeeds in Adult Cinema without resembling in the slightest the stereotype of a "porn star". "Sex Safari" is one of her excellent Brad Armstrong movies for Wicked that helped make her an all-time great in the industry.
I foolishly thought the feature would be about African big-game hunting, but it is instead a globe-hopping (though shot entirely in L.A. environs) adventure of sex in many nations. Stephanie and her pilot are dressed in vintage costumes, suggesting an Amelia Earhart and military flyboy.
The seven sex scenes spotlight oher top talent, notably Inari Vachs and Jill Kelly, with Swift appearing throughout the show. One highlight has busty Jessica Jewel as a Snow Bunny, in a scene director Armstrong tells us was inspired by his successful similar scene in a Katja Kean vehicle he shot: "Sports Spectacular".
The stagings and styling is impressive throughout, making up for the intentional "all-sex" approach that omits dialog & actual characterizations.
