    This is "Benny Hill 2000"

I must say, I remember that in the 70's and 80's there was a show that featured scantily clad women and lots of silly jokes called Benny Hill, and everyone laughed, but it got boring in the end.

Well, the premise is back for the new millenium, and it's the Man Show. Just like Benny Hill, it features sophmoric humor, but like shows today, grounds the show in reality. They are simply trying to capture that same audience. And just like Benny Hill, It's heading down the same path.

They need to be careful. It's easy to get caught up in "booty call" and forget about entertainment. May they remember to keep the balance.

Would of been a lot better off canceled after Adam and Jimmy left

In 2000 I saw my first episode of the man show with Adam Carrolla and Jimmy Kimmel in season 2 and i loved it and have been watching it ever since. In 2003 Adam and Jimmy left the program (my best guess is they were sick of it and wanted to do other things) and i got a little depressed. Several months later the man show came back on the air with new hosts, new set, and a new opening theme. The first couple of minutes i was like okay, little did i know that Joe Rogan and Doug Stanhope didn't know what the hell they were thinking, they added new additions to the show and most of them were nothing short of ridiculous "The magical Negro" which is a person who helps out Doug and Joe with their problems and sings and dances about the penis, and "Guess who's Ass Crack" which you have to identify a persons ass between a celebrity or a plumber. On top of all of this Joe and Doug decided not to do the man show toast at the end, in fact they thought it was a joke to them when they used it in one of their discussions talking to the audience. In 2004 the rating for "The Man Show went from 2 million viewers to 600,000 viewers in less than a year, thats 70% of the home audience gone! Adam and Jimmy knew what they were doing from day 1 and the series would of turned out great if they would of just left it alone after season 4. So if season 5 and 6 of the man show ever come out on DVD, don't buy it! save your money and save yourself from that horrible torture and just get seasons 1,2,3 and 4 you wont regret it.

If you say it's degrading to women you're missing the point...

The post earlier said that the Man Show was too degrading to women and was offensive...I thought that was the point! The show is sexist in such an outrageous and ridiculous manner that it's definitely not to be taken seriously. And with that philosophy, it's very very funny...

    Oprah, eat you heart out!

I loved this show! Sure, it was sophomoric, but it was fun- and isn't that what TV is supposed to be? It had three of the things that guys hold near and dear to their hearts- pretty women, beer and farts. How can you not love a show where Cindy Crawford (in a spot that had to be filmed a long time ago) shows you how to fix a toilet AND says "ballcock"? A show where the fastest beer drinker in the world plays the organ? Where the audience and the hosts drink brews all during the show? And where, as they have promised, we'll see girls on trampolines end every show? Will this show offend people? Sure. But that's why you have a remote control- you don't have to watch it. Every show doesn't have to be "Masterpiece Theatre." So many of the "women's shows" take great pleasure in showing that men are pigs. Well here, not only don't they deny it, they're damn proud of it. I just can't wait til Ben Stein shows up as a guest.

    Very funny show

I find almost all parts of The Man Show pretty funny, especially the experiments in the real world (Putting a 20 dollar bill in an unflushed toilet, ect.) and the Man Show Boy, who is about 10 and is put outside a liquor store to see if anyone would buy him beer. All of the comedy is very funny, but the "Juggies", In my opinion, seem to degrade women a great deal. All in all, a VERY funny show, especially if you're a man.
