You can wear too much lip gloss...

Now I see why the Olsen Twins' movies are straight-to-video. This was by far the worst Olsen twins movie I have ever seen. They were cute on Full House...even though they couldn't act. But now that they are older it's just a turn-off. I found them extremely vapid and shallow in this movie. They had that whole "oh my god, like , he's so cute" thing going on.

These are the kind of girls that everyone hates in school, or at least I do. Mary-Kate used to be the tomboyish one, but now she has taken along the shallow, boy crazy role that Ashley originally played. This movie has at least one different thing about it...They actually have a mother that is ALIVE!!!

So they find these "like, totally hot guys" and they are going to go to some kind of Spring Break pool party or something by the "hot" guys. But, oh no, they have to go to Paris. Them being the snobby, ungrateful, brats that they are would rather stay at home and go to the pool party than go to Paris. Who do you know would rather to stay in California with some guys that they don't know and go to a pool party than go to Paris?

So then they get to Paris and them being "just so drop dead gorgeous" automatically fall in love with some 'french' guys with phony accents. They have their first kisses, grandpa turns around, they get the once uptight guardian a girlfriend, and they get to go to the dance with the guys of their dreams...typical, predictable, Mary-Kate and Ashley movie.

A good case for family planning

Two obnoxious, spoiled rotten, trampy 13 year old twin sisters go vacationing in Paris, their impossibly "cute" adventures are the center of this G-rated puke fest, insulting everybody's intelligence (and the French) along the way. And what is Matt McCoy doing in this mess?. Parents take note: this is NOT the way your kids are supposed to be raised. Depressing.

It's Cute but Not Really My Style

I've never really been an Olsen twin fan myself, but I go to my aunt's every weekend, and my cousin loves these movies. I was bored and it was raining out and my cousin begged me to watch this with her. It's cute and all but I wasn't really part of the target audience. I really don't get what's so likeable about the Olsen twins except that they have cute faces and make G-rated straight-to-video movies. Well this is their first movie in a way with the same plot, all the movies they make after this copycat this plot. It's cute how the Olsens have their first onscreen kiss. My cousin loved it, I kind of like Olsen movies, it's my guilty pleasure. I liked "It Takes Two", "Switching Goals" and all the ones they did when they were little except for a few. It was quite cheesy and had a predictable outcome, but it was sweet, I know this is how you DON'T want your little girls to turn out like but it's still wholesome and somewhat entertaining, but the Olsens are horrible actresses! Okay so 3.5/10 from me and 5.5/10 for the target audience.

    Recycled

I sat through this movie while babysitting, my eyes glued to the screen for one thing only - a glimpse of the Paris Opera House. The one thing I could have seen that would have enriched my night of recycled, plotless drivel. Having seen many of the Mary-Kate and Ashley movies over the years spent taking care of children, I could easily say that this one is no different, and no more or less than I came to expect; light-hearted, overly sweet, and predictable. I would suggest, for the target group, that you find something more challenging to their intellect - perhaps James and the Giant Peach, or the Wallace And Gromit videos.
