Peyton Place '79

Return to Peyton Place '79 was a 20th Century Fox one hour syndicated pilot presentation taped at the Hollywood KTLA TV studio. The presentation pilot was based on the success of the 1972-1973-1974 NBC TV daytime drama "Return To Peyton Place". George Parrish (NBC Show Producer), after NBC's cancellation of the daytime series, transferred over to Fox Television working on Fox Television Syndication projects. The "Return to Peyton Place '79" was auditioned as a cable program option for three years, eventually abandoned by the studio.
