      The Next Attraction was the first novel that Walther Negrão wrote integrally on TV Globo. Previously, the author had worked on the last chapters of Father Thomas's Cabin in 1969. Silvio de Abreu, future author of TV Globo novels, appeared in The Next Attraction as the fun delegate Damasceno Righi Salomão. He would return to live the same personage in the novel Editora Mayo, Good Day, also of Walther Negrao, appeared in TV Record in 1971. According to Renata Sorrah, the nomination for her to make the character Madalena left the actor Sérgio Cardoso.
