Nickelodeon did something right here. They have a live-action show with a female heroine, a rarity on Nick these days. Unfortunately, I have the feeling that this is going to go the way of "Space Cases" (rest their souls after an untimely death!) and will be cancelled before its time because Nick will want more cartoon shows. This show doesn't deserve the fate it will get, and Lindsay Felton is going to be a STAR! And Jeremy Foley wins the award for Best supporting performance in the role of a dorkish character that no one is supposed to like. So just watch this show!
While flipping through the channels, I stumbled upon Nickleodeon. I watch this channel religiously when Cheers, Roseanne, Wings, Cosby Show and Three's Company are on in the evenings.
While the acting may not have been top notch, and the cinematography was a little too cliche'd and dramatic for my tastes, the script seemed to do well, by keeping my attention. The one major drawback of the series is the constant music, for tense, dramatic and 'action' scenes, when the kids were on their dirtbikes. If they scaled back the amount of music, the series would have been even better.
Not great or near great, but definitely better than most TV shows. And if they can keep a 20-something year interested in the show when it was geared for kids, then my hat goes off to the director and producers.
7.5 out of 10.

To me this is a cool show and I enjoy watching repeats late at night on nick. ah memories of 5 years ago.
But overall, this isn't meant to drive kids into acting like deadbeats, it's to show the struggle of how to be responsible as a person and even in the worst of times you can turn your life around. But how deep down, we're all just teenagers still and do have the right to do some immature stuff.
It also appeals to my animal side, and I guess any horse lover or animal lover would get into some of the episodes, since her auntie is a veterinarian.
I like it.
eh.

I have only seen a few episodes of this show, but from what I have seen, I like it. It's got a more mature feel to it than most of the shows on Nickelodeon, and the actors in it are really good. I especially like Felton, who plays Caitlin. She seems to be a really good actor and she's got that look that goes well with a show like this. Not to mention, though, I think she's only 16 or 17. You might like the show anyhow, because of the good storylines, the great acting, and the overall feel to it.
I Like this show a lot and I haven't missed an episode. This show is about a 14 year old girl who went to live on a ranch because she didn't want to go to jail. She had trouble adjusting at first but it worked out. I think that this is one of the better shows on Nick because it a show that kids and teens can sort of relate 2.

- TriviaThe show was originally shot in two 26-episode seasons. "Beautiful Dreamers," "Belated Birthday," "Icicle," and "Side Kicks" were aired during season two, but filmed with the other 22 episodes of season one. The long break between airings of episodes "Mother of the Year" and "Bowlerama" has led to the listing of a season 3 for the last 10 episodes.
