There is a reason why this show was cancelled. It was just another example of how American TV network executives try to copy shows that work in other countries because they can't think of an original idea on their own. Their attempt to turn this into an American show failed miserably. The original British version was better written and had better actors. This show worked in England, because they did it right! Hey, Hollywood, if you want to use shows from other countries here, just show them, don't re-make them! The Vicar of Dibley was a funny show, but it wouldn't be funny if we made it American would it?? NO! The only one who can be the Vicar is Dawn French.
