Cast members Gerard Kennedy and Jonathan Hardy later went on to appear in other dramatizations of the Ned Kelly story. Kennedy appeared as Harry Power in the four part miniseries The Last Outlaw (1980), alongside John Jarrett as Ned Kelly, while Hardy appeared as The Great Orlando in Ned Kelly (2003) with Heath Ledger.
