A sci-fi comedy: a scientist has invented a machine which can change a man's character and is looking for a guineapig; his young assistant's sister's boyfriend ,Robert ,is a very shy young guy, self-conscious, which lacks self-confidence ,lo and behold , the perfect subject to test the machine .Unfortunately ,the first time they've subjected their guineapig to the treatment ,the machine does not work and when heasks for his fiancée's hand ,he cannot bring himself to speak to the parents .A second treatment will be successful ,even perhaps too successful: overnight, the drip bullied by his superior,despised by his colleague , becomes a self-assured go-getter : heroic , challenging the bankers and even occasionally kleptomaniac.

This little comedy owes a good deal to Robert Dhéry,who plays two opposite parts with consummate talent.
