And do not think being one of the best Serbian TV shows is an easy task. The plot is solid but the acting... o boy... The director A. Djordjevic gathered the best "old school" actors like R. Savicevic, V. " Bata" Zivojinovic, N. Simic, Seka Sabljic, D. Lazovic, Zika Milenkovic and others who gave this show immortality. Never the less, some of them gave their life performance (like D. Lazovic as Scepan Scekic) and this is the reason more to watch this relaxing comedy.

A big smile on my face when I see them :) but their is a bit sadness considering that original broadcast was at Sundays night and it always reminds me that tomorrow is a school day... :)

In a typical Sinisa Pavic fashion it's about a typical Belgrade family going through typical hard times of the 90's (the title of the series is in an ironic sense as they're not really happy at all, you see).

Anyways, what's very strange is that THE main characters are... wastes of space. The dad remains undefined throughout the series, the wife is there to just tap dance around being unfaithful, the kid's there to just be a cute kid and the daughter... well, take a guess.

Side characters, on the other hand, are a riot. They're absolutely hilarious. Well, except Eva Ras who despite her trademark "Lonely sad woman" role is in real life a horrible monster of a person. Whenever she pops up you just wanna switch the channel till actually funny characters (and good people in real life) reappear.

So yeah, Eva Ras sucks.

Best tv show ever! Characters are brilliant, acting too... Popara,Arandjel and Riska & mr Ostoja... Scepan & Lune ... variety of interesting people
