"ACA" is one of Australia's great comedies.
Where else can you tune in and get a daily dose of dodgy fridge repairmen, housos destroying housing commission property, white trash spewing vile hatred at each other, ads for the latest fad diet, celebrity suck-up pieces (usually when the celebrity is promoting their new album / film / perfume / whatever) and Brady Halls chasing yet another clueless crim (who are so stupid / broke they can't even get their faces pixelated) down the street while asking questions over-dubbed in the edit suite.
Tracy Grimshaw gets a special mention for reading this s h i t off the auto-cue while looking genuinely concerned and without out cracking up in laughter.
They have picked at the marginalized in our society and when SBS produced the excellent "Struggle Street" doco, they couldn't believe it wouldn't be an ACA hatchet job (which it wasn't). Yes, they have picked at the scab of racism and every other "ism" for that matter; and yes, some people believe them in a literal sense (?) If you have time, switch over to ACA to see what the housos are up to and who Brady Halls is chasing down the street tonight... I guess it's a bit like a traffic accident.. you know you shouldn't look but you can't turn away...

How uncaring of ACA to follow up the report on the Australia volunteers in Ukraine putting their lives at risk in the war torn country, with sobbing cruise passengers emotional because they have missed cruising during the last 2 years. Get real about the matters that really matter in this world.
Absolute trash and drivel. When you watch this you can literally feel your IQ dropping.
A Current Affair was a typical clone of all of the Current affairs shows in Australia. Stories were frequently the same with a few different details. This nightly current affairs show was made of dodgy businessmen, miracule drugs, battlers who are being picked on by the authorities and anything that gives them a chance to show some gratuitious nudity or senseless violence. The only thing worth tuning in for was the weekly segments made by John Clarke and Bryan Dawe. Highly satrical mock interviews, characteristic of John Clarke's style make ACA worth watching (or atleast tuning in for the last 5 minutes).
