The best Chad Michael Murray movies and TV shows include a mix of young adult releases, and in recent years, more adult drama fare. Murray got his start as an actor after he graduated from high school and won a modeling scholarship, which helped him pick up an agent. He moved to California and quickly earned a role in the MTV drama series Undressed. This helped lead to his breakout role on The Gilmore Girls as Tristin DuGray.
After another recurring role in Dawson’s Creek, Murray’s popularity exploded when he grabbed one of the leading roles in One Tree Hill. This also led to several film roles, mostly in young adult movies like Freaky Friday and A Cinderella Story. He hasn’t slowed down since aging out of many of those young adult releases, earning some great roles in movies like Fruitvale Station and TV shows like Marvel’s Agent Carter and Sullivan’s Crossing.

Faye Webster wants to move on, but really can’t. On Monday night, the musician visited Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform her intimate track “But Not Kiss,” which she previously described to Rolling Stone as an “anti-romantic” love song.

Exclusive: Following a major bidding battle that went through the weekend, Amazon MGM Studios has landed an untitled thriller written by Natalie Krinsky, with Kim Kardashian attached to star and produce. Bruna Papandrea is also producing through her Made Up Stories banner alongside Krinsky.
According to sources, Amazon was one of five studios in the mix. With all being sorted out, sources close to the project say a theatrical or streaming release plan is possible, though nothing is confirmed given the early nature of the project.
Not much is known about the pic other than it being a thriller developed specifically for Kardashian. This marks the second massive package sold since the SAG-AFTRA strike ended with Kardashian front and center, after Netflix landed her comedy The Fifth Wheel over Thanksgiving; insiders say the latest deal is even more lucrative then that package.
Similar to that sale, Kardashian was very hands on in the process,...

Before he was a famous star, Pedro Pascal made a memorable guest appearance in an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Across seven seasons on The WB (and later on Upn for its final two years), Buffy the Vampire Slayer amassed a dedicated fan following and became one of the teen shows that defined the '90s. While there were plenty of overarching serialized storylines on the show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer became renowned for its spooky standalone monster-of-the-week plots bringing in characters who only stuck around for one episode and were usually killed off.
After almost two decades of playing minor roles in film and television projects, Pascal has quickly become one of Hollywood's most popular and sought-after actors, and was included on the 2023 Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world. Pedro Pascal started working in the industry in the 1990s primarily on television and not even under the name we know him as. And so it seems apt that collaborators and friends of Pedro Pascal have said some of his most recent and famous roles call to mind The Man with No Name himself, Clint Eastwood.
In a recent Esquire profile, numerous individuals close to Pedro Pascal likened the star to Eastwood. The Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau said, “The original Boba Fett armor and the T-visor were based on Clint Eastwood’s The Man with No Name, where they used angles and the brim of his hat to hide his eyes. We wanted to adhere to that tradition, and Pedro felt that he had the power and the ability to breathe life into a costume and made it something more.” But no matter how much Eastwood squints, he can still see better than Pascal,...

Sarah Paulson and Pedro Pascal’s friendship is three decades strong. In a new Esquire cover story on “The Last of Us” and “The Mandalorian” actor, Paulson revealed that she helped financially support Pascal in the early 2000s when he was still struggling to make it as a working actor. Paulson would sometimes give Pascal the money she made as part of her acting per diem so that he could feed himself.
The two actors first met in 1993 when Pascal came to New York City as a student in NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
“We would go to see movies all the time in those years,” Paulson said, “and we would get so lost in them. You can fill in the blanks about the why of that however you like, but I think there were things we wanted to escape mentally, emotionally, spiritually.”

Freeform’s forthcoming Valentine’s Day film, “The Thing About Harry,” is an earnest romantic comedy that follows high school enemies who are forced to share a ride to their hometown to attend a friend’s engagement party, only to have car trouble, bond overnight in a motel, and come out the other side with complicated feelings about each other. While the “opposites end up attracting” and “characters with complicated pasts find they have more in common” are staples of the genre, what sets this project apart is that the two central characters are both men.
“When you look at the Freeform ethos, that is inherent to who they are. Ever since I’ve worked there, and I’ve been there over seven years, they’ve always treated Lgbtq people as part of the human landscape,” writer, executive producer and director Peter Paige tells Variety. “Everything that matters to me as a storyteller,...

Viacom rode Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his Imf team to a better-than-expected fourth quarter in terms of both earnings per share and revenue.
The Paramount Pictures parent company unveiled its fourth-quarter and full fiscal year 2018 financials Friday morning, reporting 99 cents of earnings per share (Eps) on $3.485 in revenue. Wall Street had forecast Eps of 95 cents on $3.37 billion in revenue, according to a consensus estimate of 25 media analysts compiled by Yahoo Finance.
That all-in revenue figure was 5 percent better than Q4 2017 and the earnings per share is 29 percent higher. For the full fiscal year, revenues declined 2 percent, but Eps rose 9 percent. Without the benefit of glorious adjustments, that profit instead drops 43 percent.

A veteran music supervisor for television and movies, Jennifer Pyken landed her first Emmy nomination for her work on NBC’s “This Is Us.” This native New Yorker-turned-Valley Girl started out as an Island Records intern and continues to showcase her diverse musical range with the Netflix teen comedy, “The Package,” which bowed Aug. 10.
This is only the second year that music supervisors have even been eligible for Emmys. Why do you think it took so long to receive recognition?
People sometimes think of music as an afterthought — but it’s so important. Our guild is fairly new: It’s six years old. So we had to go and explain to them what we do and how much we put into the show and what the process is. And by doing that, they were able to get that as a new category. It took a little bit of work.

For better or worse, Adam Brody will always be remembered as Seth Cohen from The O.C. The affable and awkward teen is easy to find inside the weathered and wiser 37-year-old Brody, but the San Diego native might never be able to shake his early-aughts pop culture iconography. Despite that infamous role, Brody has had a pretty consistent career over the last two decades, playing opposite Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in Mr. & Mrs. Smith, being directed by famed playwright Neil Labute and making guest appearances on beloved TV shows like House of Lies and The League. This month, he’s in the buddy comedy Big Bear, where he gets to sport a pretty mean mustache, and returns with the second season of StartUp on Crackle.
With two such diverse roles coming out in the same month and nostalgia for shows like Gilmore Girls and The O.C. at an all-time high, Brody sits down...

The Importance Of Doubting Tom screens Tuesday November 8th at 7pm at Landmark’s The Tivoli Theater as part of The St. Louis International Film Festival. Ticket information can be found Here
Local actress and filmmaker Vanessa Roman presents her years-in-the-making feature debut The Importance Of Doubting Tom, a romantic screwball comedy set against the backdrop of a dart league. It tells the story of Gwen, who is shaken and confused by a recent breakup from the guy she thought was the one, but something doesn’t seem right. In searching for the truth, mixed identities, comic hijinks, and lover’s games ensue in this. Roman based her original script both on the classic Oscar Wilde play, The Importance of Being Earnest and on her experience playing darts at St. Louis’ own Blueberry Hill, which is where she met her husband John.
