Stable candidate for the best game ever created

Astonishing ambient, puzzles and humour are on the edge of imagination (and sometimes are over the edge). Each location is fresh and hilarious and surprising art with soul.

Unfortunately, some puzzles are too random and almost unsolvable. Without walkthrough, they will require wasted days.

And yet, it may be worth to try to have a coop play with friends, but without checking spoilers and easy solutions at all.

May be about 3 actions during the game are too hard to figure out in any way - the choice is 2-3 wasted days on each of them or checking UHS.

As in the title, I'd nominate Discword, possibly whole series 1-2-3 (Noir) for the best game ever created. Somewhere near Portal and Planescape (and may be some other).

    Great but nonsensical puzzles

This is my favourite game of all time and if u are a disc world fan you will love it.The puzzles don't make sense so you have to combine every item with everything to work them out.The characters and the humor are good though and features Eric idle Rob brydon and tony Robinson for the voice acting.Classic 90s point and click

    • Trivia
The game suffered from a number of bugs and problems on several systems. In an unusual move in the video game industry, Terry Pratchett, the author of the Discworld books, personally answered technical questions on the Usenet newsgroup alt.fan.terry-pratchett. He then contacted the game's publisher Psygnosis multiple times until the problems were rectified.
    • Goofs
For a few of Rincewind's comments, such as when the player tries to put the money pouch in the Luggage, his voice sounds different because it's done by Rob Brydon instead of Eric Idle.
    • Quotes

      [repeated line]

Multiple Characters: Did you get the number of that donkey cart?

    • Alternate versions
(possible spoilers) In the DOS version, when Rincewind goes to the edge of the world to find the parrot, there is a sequence where he appears trapped. It then shows gods/goddesses talking about making the game more interesting and reveals that Rincewind is actually down the bra of the goddess. He asks how to get out- then changes his mind, saying he would like to stay there. This sequence is not present in the European PAL Playstation version of the game.
