Samurai visiting the Ainu people on Ezo

Pirates attack a ship and kills everybody on board and steal a map of the northern Ezo province. This takes an old man and two samurai on a journey to Ezo where they encounter the Ainu tribal people and a clan that may be involved in the troubles.

This is an investigation samurai movie showing some for this period quite unique clash of two worlds stories. acting and so on is quite good. But what makes this movie interesting for me is it is different with a story not seen in the traditional samurai movie. It is maybe not a masterpiece but still good and a movie that is worth seeing if you like samurai movies. It has good entertainment value and a good pace. I doubt you will regret watching this. I enjoyed it a lot.
