    Deff a kid's movie

This is defiantly a kid'ss movie and shouldn't be taken seriously. A boy who lost his parents goes to a circus and ends up feeling sorry for a baby bear, and recuses it.

The acting is really bad but small children will not notice how bad it is. The coordination is also bad during fight scenes. It did do a lot of things I wasn't expecting I thought it would be the ''a group of kids vs adults'' theme. But the writing is weak. This seems like it was put together by people who just wanted to cash in, and didn't respect the audience enough to give better direction to the actors. I can only see older people liking this if they grew up watching this as a kid and it reminds them of their childhood. Or is you'd rather watch something that is wholesome.

A recently orphaned boy tries to save a young bear cub from becoming a circus act,

Do not let the first 10 minutes of this movie form your opinion of it. There is a twist to the story, which I will not reveal. However it was certainly something different, and worth watching if you're in the mood for some light entertainment without burning away too many brain cells. A simple, well acted movie, which did not become too mushy despite having 2 themes to it which could have been portrayed in a very depressing manner.

The best film about a boy saving a bear from an evil circus, ever!

This is a beautiful and moving film about a young boy who lives with his sister since his parents are dead. He has no friends and some guys bully him. One day he meets a bear cub at a circus and the friendly indian Charlie tells him about a mystical cave from where you can travel in time. Adventure begins. It's very very exiting. I strongly recommend it!

Flash back to Grizzly Adams :)

Growing up in NYC Grizzly Adams was on TV at 3am. For two years I'd wake up, sneak into living room & put a blanket on the TV (floor model) and watch this show. Grizzly Adams was one of my most treasured parts of growing up, how I wanted to live just like him lol. Anyway.... This movie is not grizzly adams but the warm feeling, bear, beautiful scenery are still there & so is Dan. Any true nature lover or Grizzly Adams fan will love this film. I have looked years on ebay to get the series but no luck, this is the closetest you can get in a sense. My score 10/10, bought back the memories, warm feeling, and was just the cutest bear cub you ever seen, how I wish one day I can hug a bear cub :(

    Adventure for the whole family.

Twelve-year-old Jimmy Dobson ends up with more adventure than he counted on when he makes friends with a mistreated bear cub at the circus. Charlie Yellowhorse, who works at the circus, tells Jimmy about a magic time-travel cave where he can release the bear into the ancient wilds of the past. With the help of Charlie, Jimmy frees the bear cub and heads for Grizzley Mountain. When they reach the cave, Jimmy ends up in 1870 all by himself and has to find his way back before sunset on the second day or he will be stuck in the past forever. With some help from his new friends and special people from the past, Jimmy again rescues the bear cub and sends him back to the past with his friends.

I enjoyed this movie because Family movies of quality are hard to come by these days. The acting is over-done my some (The circus owner.) and under-done by others (Dan Haggerty). Even so it is an enjoyable way to spend some Family time together.
