    Where is the Story?

Today I have found this unknown previously used Brazilian movie on sale in a rental. When I saw on the cover the names of Leila Diniz and Hugo Carvana, I have immediately decided to buy it. Leila Diniz was a sex-symbol in my adolescence, who prematurely died in a plane crash, and Hugo Carvana is one of the best Brazilian actors. When I arrived home and put the VHS in the VCR, what have I seen? Nothing but live images of the naive and non-violent Carnival of Rio de Janeiro in the 70's, when the samba schools were interested in entertain their own members and common people in Avenida Presidente Vargas, and not entertain tourists in Sambódromo like in the present days, playing lots of Carnival old songs, showing only a couple of scenes with Leila Diniz, having no lines, no development of any character, no story and an abrupt end. Further, it is not a documentary, but only a senseless shooting of scenes. My vote is two.

Title (Brazil): `Amor, Carnaval e Sonhos' (`Love, Carnival and Dreams')
