Bob Augustus wrote or directed several solid porn films during a brief career, and this service comedy about women in the military is definitely worth catching.

Besides the requisite sex scenes involving top talent, it also includes well-staged action footage, notably for war games involving real tanks, other vehicles and special physical effects. I found it refreshing after watching so many locked in the bedroom (or motel room) claustrophobic modern porn movies.

There's actually a plot, conflict and even some dramatics in Augustus's screenplay, though if this movie had no sex it would be held up to a different standard. Bad guy is a Col. Carson, who is determined that the women fail, and he enlists Randy West as a Sgt. Ryker (that's the fictional name from a famous Lee Marvin TV shot on Kraft Suspense that I recall) to sabotage their efforts.

Fine cast includes Pat Manning as a busty sergeant, Lisa de Leeuw and Vanessa Del Rio sexy as usual as draftees, Aunt Peg as a doctor, and many others. Luke Gusher is an unsung porn performer (see him as butler in DOWNSTAIRS UPSTAIRS), here cast as a soldier who has sex under a tree with two femme grunts, displaying his huge cock that is more impressive than that of John Holmes.
