With that title, LOST IN THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE certainly has promise. In my opinion there are too few fictional films dealing with the infamous area of the sea where so many planes and ships have been lost. Plenty of documentaries, yes, but not enough full-fledged movies.
Unfortunately this dull family drama hardly rights the balance, because LOST IN THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE is an almost entirely worthless production. A late '90s-era TV movie, it tells the tragic tale of a couple whose life is thrown into chaos when the wife falls pregnant and is diagnosed with cancer at the same time. A yacht trip to Bermuda is in order, but the pair are caught in a storm and the wife vanishes.
A promising opening maybe, but what follows is almost entirely without incident. The husband employs a couple of nobodies to sail around searching for his wife for a while, while some detectives conduct a half-assed investigation into the disappearance. It ends with the silliest, cheesiest scene ever, full of plot holes that ultimately scupper the entire movie. The sci-fi elements of the plot are limited to a couple of cheesy electrical effects while the acting and calibre of the script are strictly bottom level.

This is the worst movie that I have ever seen. At first i thought that it was going to be good because I'm interested in the bermuda triangle, but instead it was terrible. All it did was offer a bunch of lame explinations that didn't make sense (if time moves differently there how come the woman didn't age, and her son aged rapidly), and have a horrible sappy ending. Next time the guys who made this go to Bermuda they should take all copies of this movie with them. Please everyone vote for this movie so it can get on the worst movie list.
Bloody hell. Who..? In their right mind, came up with this dribble. Thats all i have to say.
If you feel like wasting 86 minutes on a film that makes no sense, is badly written ,with a bad plot and bad acting then this little gem is for you. Recommended for those who are about to fall asleep. Major annoyance will be felt by the awake viewer. Do not pay to see this movie!
This film begins with a young man fishing in his boat somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle when a strange electric storm hits and he suddenly disappears. The scene then shifts to Chicago where a young woman named "Mary Foster" (Charlotte d'Amboise) discovers that she is pregnant. Unfortunately, the problem with that is that she also suffers from cancer and as a result she and her husband "Brian Foster" (Tom Verica) must decide whether she should submit to chemotherapy--and lose the baby--or to risk everything and attempt to give birth. So rather than make a quick decision they decide to take a few days off to consider their options--and their short vacation involves fishing in the waters off Bermuda. Now rather than reveal any more I will just say that this movie started off okay but after about 45 minutes or so everything just fell apart. It was much too mundane from that point on. In short, this wasn't a good film and I have rated it accordingly. Below average.
