James Bryan, also known under his porno moniker of Morris Deal, has become an undeserved cult figure decades later, thanks to his belonging to the goofy alt-porn avant garde (see others more famous, like David Aaron Clark and Charles Pinion).
This BDSM exercise is typical of his crude, amateurish approach to filmmaking, here taking on (and flubbing) an easy target: those cable-access TV shows so popular decades back, as in Manhattan Cable's Robin Byrd show.
Bryan throws in everything but the kitchen sink in his catalog of BDSM stuff: like pigheads worn by people, military caps, instead of an X-bar a Pentacle-shaped wall device for chaining up sex slaves to, ice cube for sensory manipulation, CBT with a whip, etc. Mistress Tantala is well-chosen as main subject, with another dominatrix, Mistress Holly, guest starring.
Nick Random aims for comedy as the cable show roving reporter who goes to Tantala's house and gets involved in the sex rather than merely documenting it there. Best perfromance is by the underrated VHS era porn actress Shaun Michelle, featured in many sex scenes with strange hairdo and makeup as Leila.
