Intergalactic Thanksgiving or Please Don't Eat the Planet

This great animated short can be found on the rare compilation titled "Nelvanamation" on VHS. A second collection "Nelvanamation II" was also released and If you're lucky you can find them both on eBay from time to time. I have really fond memories of all the cartoon specials that Nelvana created in the late 70's and early 80's. This Thanksgiving special stands out as my favorite, partially because of the great characters but mostly due the quirky sense of humor. Seeing it recently for the first time since I was a kid was a treat. I was amazed at how I could still remember a lot of the story and gags. Sid Caesar really adds something special to the voice cast. Great stuff.

After many many years of searching i finally ran into a individual who put in massive amounts of time transferring Nelvanamation volumes 1 and two from VHS to high quality video files. It was truly a miracle that I found these at all( i have been looking for these for at least 10 years), and I kid you not when i say the quality is near perfect, this truly was a labor of love restoring these amazing and memorable cartoons and you can tell when you watch these, many thanks to SuenteusPo77 who did all the work. Now i have these in DVD form for anyone who is interested, just trying to keep great shows like these alive. Get in touch with me if you are interested.
