    Building Blocks

This not a great movie. The low budget is apparent despit a couple of well known names. However the real star is newcomer Jonathan Quint. I've seen him in 'Boogie Nights' and 'Floating.' This provides another opportunity for him to sharpen his acting teeth. Despite the straight to video release, Quint will be seen much more on the silver screen.

    To paraphrase Homer Simpson...

This was the suckiest 87 minutes of my life. I whole-heartedly agree with the rest of the comments here. I've made better movies than this in college, and so did all my classmates. If you're computer literate, you'll be sure to cringe a lot. Typing DIR in a dos prompt and listing the directory is apparently high level hacking. Steer clear of this mega-crap. This made my all-time bottom five movies. Brian Dennehy must have a serious drug or gambling problem if he needs to take these kinds of jobs. I would say even Daniel Baldwin is too classy for this movie, which says a lot. AWFUL acting from the lead and his wife. The "suspense" is just embarrassing. The "action" sequences are so fumbling it's not even laughable, you just squirm in mental discomfort. Serge Rodnunsky, your talent, if existent, lies elsewhere. Stay away from movies. Take Uwe Boll with you.

    Don't waste you time ! !

I saw this movie as well. I was out of town on a business trip and had a hard time sleeping. After watching this movie, I had no problem sleeping at all. If you have any computer security experience at all, you'd know in a heartbeat that cracks can't be broken as easily as they were in this movie. If you want an exciting movie about hackers that will keep you on the edge of your seat, go see Anti-Trust ! !

Serge Rodnunsky should never be allowed to make a film again!

I saw this truly terrible TV movie on Polish telly last night. What were the likes of Brian Dennehy, Robert Guillaume, Brad Dourif thinking to participate in this appalling mess? Maybe they were offered nice cheques, I hope so!

Director/Editor/Writer Serge Rodnunsky shows he really he has no idea how to:

    A: Write a plausible script.

B: Edit a film to build tension

    C: Direct actors.

This film has amateur night written all over it. A true waste of my time and anyone's else time. AVOID!

Shame on all reviewers. It is not that bad.

On this date there are only a few reviews: one rated 2 over 10, and all others rated 1 over ten (which is the minimal rating, there is no zero). Nothing better than two.

I am convinced that Mr. Rodnunsky slept with the wife of IMDB's owner and the husband learned all of it, so he sent his goons to destroy this movie.

Don't get me wrong: this is no Citizen Kane, but as films in the unrealistic genre of car chases + giant corporate corruption go, this is quite acceptable. I have watched MANY films worse than this one.

Granted the two leading ladies were not the best actresses out there, but male actors are all correct in their roles. Without being Shakespearian, dialogues were almost always natural, or even if occassionally were not, they contained the typical melodramatic lines of the genre.

Something is very wrong here, but it is much less about the film than about the supposedly objective viewers.
