no where near as bad as people think - in fact, its rather hilarious!

i think it is a bit harsh to say that this series is 'not funny'.

don't forget that this was made some years before the later effort 'so, what now?' of course it has its flaws, every single show does.

'the world of Lee Evans' is the show which first brought Lee Evans into the world of television and for this we should be thankful. it's clear it is at an early stage of his career (i was never a fan of the next door neighbour sketch.) it is a show with a man finding his feet in television comedy and for a first timer i think you'll agree that he does a rather good job at it! (the petrol station, and train sketches are particular highlights for me!) so to watch a new series starring Lee Evans and then go back to see his earlier stuff hoping to find a masterpiece is being a bit far fetched.

it's by no means his best work (he saves that for his stand up routine - which has to be seen to believed - and his performance in 'the producers' was outstanding) but it is nonetheless very enjoyable.

    Kinda Funny

I am a huge fan of Lee Evans and I thought this would be funny but it wasn't that funny. It's hit and miss, some hit and most miss but still I got few chuckles and two of laughs out of it. It's not terrible, I was mildly entertained and lee Evans too funny to make any thing terrible...okay maybe The Medallion but that was very weak anyway. This is a bunch of sketches from most of the things he talks about on his live shows like working in a late night petrol station or meeting your girl friends parents you know stuff. If your a big fan of Lee Evans you might like it a bit but still his shows were much funnier. I think you should should rent it or buy it from a corner shop for £2 or £3, I didn't hate it but still most jokes fall flat but some don't and its okay if you don't have anything to do.

    The World Of Lee Evans

I think that when i saw world of lee evans it was funny for all the actions he did and how everything had to go wrong with him which made me laugh lol. I'd say my favourite bit was where he was listening to a record on how to get a date as he tried his best to get everything perfect. Or another bit which i found most amusing was where he had to go and meet the parents of his girlfriend who was pregnant at the time, as he messes up the house by accident it turns out he was at the wrong house the whole time lol. it's a lot funnier when you see this for your self i would recommend this sitcom for it is one of the dunniest i have seen out for a long time.

    bah

well i have seen lee evans in the comedy "So, what Now" which was one of my most liked tv shows. when i heard this tv series were going to pass in a channel of my country I just couldn't wait to see it. finally, the moment arrived. after the 15 minutes of the first episode i saw of this i started asking to myself: "Is this supposed to be funny???" and "this is pathetic!!"

i say this is pathetic but not like nonsense comedy..i love nonsense comedy...bu this..is just a guy..jumping and falling around, and its supposed to be funny!!! how has comedy gone so far...
