    Just for fun....

It is forbidden to be watched seriously, only if you have nothing else to do. It is short, rare, a bit boring but fun. I found it somewhere in my library and am not sure to have seen it before. Destined to the whole family audience, it can not even be described as a crime, or a very smooth crime oater. Yes, an oater, a crime oater. I know nor the director or the players, I don't even know where that comes from. This is cute, but not a real gem, just a small modern western, in the Republic Pictures style, which this was the speciality, a mixup between western, action. I repeat, it's a good gentle time waster, just for fun.

    • Trivia
This was the first feature from Planet Pictures, Inc., which was founded by stuntmen Harvey Parry and Richard Talmadge. They intended to produce low-budget films shot on 16mm film that could be shown on portable projectors commonly used by schools and churches, rather than on large, expensive 35mm projectors. This would also allow them to save money on shipping costs; the two features they completed, both of which ran less than one hour, could each be contained on two large 16mm reels rather than on six 35mm reels. The only other film they made before going out of business was Detour to Danger (1946).
