Iva Janzurová, who played Hermínka, was known for filling the waiting breaks during filming with knitting or crocheting. During one such break she crocheted herself a dress for a premiere of Monsieur, vous êtes veuve (1971) and when the film's costume designer Irena Greifová saw it, she was so impressed that it was used in the film.
