Must-See for Locked Room Mystery Fans

I can't believe this movie doesn't get more love. It's super stylish, gorgeously shot, and impeccably crafted: a great whodunit that should be more we'll-known.

A Japanese detective, based upon a novel from 1947.

For the fans of Japanese cinema this movie is worthwhile taking a look at, because it is based on a rather famous novel from 1947.

But great books rarely turn into great movies. This movie isnt bad though. It isnt terrific either, the book is definitely much better, but for those who dont mind the somewhat cheap looking photography and the slow pace, this movie does have some good acting and most of all a surprising plot.
