Must watch

I like this film. One of my fav films because of Shashi Kapoor. He was at his prime and very stylish and handsome as always. His presence makes the film worth watching. Same goes to Ashok Kumar, Prem nath, asrani, & hema contributes to the film.

Shashi Kapoor's style, signature walk & smile is killer. Though the film is drama genre, and it's not one of my most fav genre but I'd watch any film, regardless of genre, that has Shashi Kapoor in it.

Prem nath's character is very sweet and very supportive and though he's often blamed for his actions his good human heart makes him always jump to help those in need.

Though the story has the common 70s story angle of rich & poor but it's still an entertaining film.

This film got very good music by Laxmikantpyarelal with ably supported by playback singers: Kishorekumar,Latamangeshkar,Mannadey,Mahendrakapoor,Anuradhapaudhwal. This film portrayed conflict between rich and poor.And also portrayed the ill treatment of senior citizen by their kith and kins.Altogether this film is a tear jerker having very good seasonal music.Shashikapoor & Hemamalini were at their prime,while acting in this film.Arunairani's fierce acting,Ashokkumar & Premnath's robust acting skills,Shashikapoor's own individualistic acting,Niruparoy's tearful acting,asrani's escentric acting makes the film worth watching.
