Porn parody at its worst

Cash Markman outdoes himself in crappy writing with "Cape Lere", a very sloppily directed porn-parody, with Herschel Savage taking the rap as producer and director. Even the title is fake: cast refers to the location as Cape Lust repeatedly, but since Heather Lere is the star, the marketing makes the title publicize her.

The actors frequently mix up the characters' names, making this junker even more confusing. The story makes very little sense, but Markman insists, shaggy-dog style, in switching the story in the final reel to cancel out what we've previously been led to believe. It's insulting.

Making matters worse, a noisy musical score during the sex scenes, credited to "Duncan", is a complete turn-off. Second lead Rob Tyler is a poor man's Colt Steele type -with zero talent. I'm not surprised his career was a flop.
