In the scene where the boys come running out of the department store after stealing, there is a band standing outside playing Christmas hymns. The band consisted of friends and family of the Director and couldn't play at all. Even so, a crowd gathered to listen to the music. After only a few notes out of place, they stopped and packed up - leaving the puzzled crowd.
