The film took two years to complete. This is the first role of Lucienne Deschamps in a film of Marcel Hanoun. She also appeared in Un arbre fou d'oiseaux (1996), La boulangère et la cosmonaute (1997), Le ravissement de Natasha (2007), Libertad (2009), Déconstruction (2009), Cello (2010) and La femme de chambre, un corps sans visage (2011), for which she was credited as co-director as well. Not long before Marcel Hanoun died they made a 2 minute film together: Fin de Partie (2012).
