The "Heartbeart" of its time - OK in small doses.

"Parkin's Patch" is a bit like the "Heartbeart" of its day. This is OK in small doses and it was the right move in making the episodes 25 minutes each. The crimes that occur in this series are usually less serious ones. There is a fair bit of location shooting which helps. Look out for Michael Robbins (a.k.a Arthur from "On the Buses") who appears in a few episodes. I have the series on DVD but I seldom see it.

    • Crazy credits
Arnold Robinson, a former detective chief superintendent, is the police consultant for the series and has his name/position credited in seven separate ways over the entire series.

This ranges from his name being placed before/after his former job role, to the job role being credited in various different configurations and abbreviations.

These varied credits are reflected in the listed credits for each episode.
