    Low budget, but hilarious

At first, I was a bit skeptical because it seemed to be a low budget movie. There's odd camera angles and the picture isn't the greatest quality. But about fifteen minutes or so into the movie, I was hooked. It was hilarious! The whole movie builds up, so if you miss a part, you might miss a joke later. There is a lot of cursing though, and I had my younger brother in the room. The amount of cursing can be overpowering at some points, so just make sure you have no little kids around. However, it was still worth it to me. Some points had me laughing at loud and calling in other people to watch. If you have some free time on your hands and want to give a comedy movie a shot, I would pick this one.

    What a PIECE of JUNK!

I can't believe they spent money to make this...granted it shows, but please...come on...this is the worst film I have ever seen in my life. I turned it off within 10 minutes. The acting, story, and directing is awful.

The film has no witty dialog or storyline...the films is structured around the idea that a white person is not supposed to use the "N" word and is struggling to gain a rap career. I hope this Dave Gebroe proves to me someday that this performance is an aberration. It is predictable, uninteresting, and not creative at all. This film is down-right ridiculous, a joke, and disrespectful to the art of film-making. I hope dearly that I will never see a film this bad...I'm sorry Mr. Gebroe, but you have shed new light on horrible independent films.

    Hilarious

While it is extremely DIY/low budget, the script is absolutely priceless. I quote this comedy perhaps more than any other. "Knickers... Oh Jeez, it's with an A! An A!" Laugh out loud funny, and while there are a few predictable sight gags, most of the humor is subtle. You will miss something funny if you don't pay close attention to the dialogue. Every time I watch it I find something new. Indeed, the other reviews suggest this movie is unbearable. Just know what you are getting into: don't expect a complex plot or even complex humor. This is a silly film, but the characters and action and direction is sincere and I think it's right on the mark. Seriously, give it a try. It's Malibu's Most Wanted meets The Big Lebowski.

    Why did they do it?

Complete garbage. The acting is horrible; it's really, really, really bad. MC2 is not at all convincing, nor is Hoodie Hoodlum. It's as if these guys didn't know they were supposed to be rappers. I thought about turning this off after 15 minutes, but instead sat through the whole thing and was rewarded with nothing. I want my time back.

A hidden gem any film enjoyer should witness

Saw this at the screening and I got chills watching the performance done by Dave McCrea. David Gebroe does a really interesting job with this one and it's just unforgettable, which Rick Kronberg also deserves so much credit for as a brilliant writer. This movie has some of the greatest and most lovable characters in the history of fiction such as Hoolie Hooligan and Beatbox. The music by Hoolie and Squared has also become one of my favorite aspects of the film. Not to mention how this comedy was so very ahead of its time. You absolutely should not go your whole life without witnessing this unbelievable work of art.
