Well-made but not even half a loaf

The trend in the '90s, and the following decade as well, to crank out lots of footage and release porn in separate videos rather than one long one is evident in this Paul Thomas followup. The individual scenes are well-shot and loaded with quality sex, but it adds up to nothing, hardly a footnote to the original film. His "Bonnie & Clyde" series suffered from the same syndrome.

The superstars Hyapatia Lee and Christy Canyon are back in action, as a summer stock XXX version of that great team Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis, and their sexual antics and rivalry are worth watching. Mellanie Moore briefly steals the show, but the various characters are rather sloughed off, so much so that I couldn't even find Jonathan Morgan, duly listed in the cast, anywhere on screen.

A performer I detest, Marc Wallice, actually gives a very impressive performance with unexpected improv skills, telling various tall tales about his life experiences that are interesting to listen to. And certainly superior to his sex footage.
