Nice squib action!

Nice squib action...and a bit of character development while we're at it, too. This one provided a lot more action than I expected, and even features a magnificent car chase sequence. Director DeCoteau did a great job, and also honed his skills with the similar Lady Avenger. Plus, I urge you to check out Prey of the Jaguar. So if you're looking for action, go for American Rampage. Cool, explosive cover art, too.

Bad Fun

Some manly woman cop has menstrual cramps after her partner gets killed by some guys and revenge ensues. American Rampage has all the makings of a bad action movie: naked women, s····y acting, horrible, yet, bloody action, sexploitation, bad production, disjointed editing and an uninteresting story. But the bloody as hell action and fairly good pacing helps keeps this movie from sucking a big ol' dinky. Worth watching a couple of times, I suppose.

Bad actioner made for direct to video market

top billed Troy Donahue only appears three times and never leave the room as a shrink. The action scene is sloppy as guns go off without sound and sloppy editing. The director, well known for making adult porno film and direct to video film, didn't do too well here. The script is also sloppy as well.

A short film stretched up to 90 mins

The film would be way shorter if they hadn't add unnecessary nude scenes. Moreover, those scenes were even longer than they should be, given the situations. It's just one of those films with a Linnea Quigley nude cameo with uninteresting, average plots. If you want to have feeling of voyeurism, this movie is just for you. The only plus point is its action scenes which are just a little above the worst screenplay.
