Mahuliena zlatá panna

I have watched this 3 or 4 times and it gets better everytime i watch it.

Its a very serious but very good story and yes i suppose its a grimm fairytale.

This is a Czech/German production and the language spoken is Slovakian, i had English subs so it was fine.

There was one actress i was familiar with and that was Lara Lamberti who plays the golden maiden of the title. Apparently she was born in France and was the neice of Klaus Kinski. She also made several Italian made films including a giallo called "A blade in the dark", as well as being in "Red Sonja".

So back to this film and you have to feel to poor old Jan who appears to be acting weird but cant say why.

Give it a shot.
