We often watch this when Jeopardy goes on a commercial break. I don't have a strong dislike for it, but it does kind of get on my nerves. It's a total waste of time, and a complete downer of a program. The positive and inspirational stories are few and far between. I know I definitely don't need to watch it for my mental health. I'm already cynical and paranoid by nature. I don't need anything that's going to make me question the state of humankind. Inside Edition covers political and social events, but it's not actual news. I feel like they just do a lot of fearmongering. They take stories that are isolated events, and try to make them seem like regular occurrences. They don't cover homelessness or AI, which are both very significant issues that are having a profound impact on society, but yet they cover a man stabbing a fast food drive thru worker, and then stabbing 4 girls who were out at the movies together. Crime is a problem, but random acts of violence really aren't that common. If you watch this too much, you'll become scared to leave your house. I don't recommend for people who struggle with anxiety. I would also bypass this if you want news that is reported with an adherence to journalistic standards. The tabloid-like presentation and the sensationalism makes it on par with garbage like Entertainment Tonight or Access Hollywood.
No review I would just love to share my story line of a message in a bottle to a kidney transplant my name is mrs. Griffin I live in South Florida
Inside Edition is ok. It covers a lot of human interest stories that are interesting in themselves, but they are meaningless with respect to the country at large. These stories tend to be overly alarmist and the reporters do a lot of "naughty, naughty" finger waving. Lisa Guerrero does this a lot and she comes across as really snippy and obnoxious. Sometimes it gives short segments on current news stories. These short summaries are good if you don't have time to delve more deeply into the news. If you like human interest stories for your entertainment, Inside Edition is passable. On the other hand, if you want to learn about the important news going on in the world, watch some other news outlet.
Its interesting that Author from the post above: getyourdander wrote that "Inside Edition is like the New York Post".
What the author probably did not know is that ALL of the top management at Inside Edition ARE from the New York Post, that includes the Executive Producer, 2 of the Managing Editor's and many of the top senior writers.
David Frost was the original host followed by Bill O'Reilly until Deborah Norville joined in 1995 !
The show has stayed on top only being outdone in the nightly ratings by Entertainment Tonight, it beats the rest of the nightly Entertainment shows and many of the top CNN and FOX news shows in the ratings daily!

I have been a fan for quite some time, however... not any longer!!! I've become more aware that this show favors the liberals. I was hoping they would stay neutral in their reporting, but sadly it's not the case. Why would Deborah headline "Trump was snubbed from attending the Royal Funeral!" When later on they noted none of the former presidents were attending only CURRENT heads of state? This was the last straw. I'm deeply disappointed that they had to create a negative narrative toward Trump like that. This was tacky to say the least. Bad form Inside Edition. I hope others follow me in boycotting this news network!😡
I can't believe you require a minimum of 500 characters to write a review! Seriously? Are you hoping you get 500 words of positive feedback? Not this time, snd not from me!
