The narrator speaks of the many styles of kung fu over some demonstrations. The pig butcher puts down his pig carcass and defends the old lady from the protection gang. Though he wins the first fight we know these things always escalate as the bad guys keep coming back stronger.

This is a curious portrayal of the life of Lam Sai Wing. Though he worked as a butcher the real Lam Sai Wing trained in martial arts all his life. In his twenties he became a student of the great Wong Fei Hung. The students of Lam Sai Wing went on to become the founding fathers of the Hong Kong martial arts motion picture industry.

Another curious thing about this movie is Jason Pai Piao's role. The role is listed as Master Ling but plays very close to Wong Fei Hung. There is an unwritten rule in Hong Kong martial arts movies that Wong Fei Hung cannot lose any fight as an adult. Kwan Tak-Hing (the man who made a career out of playing Wong Fei Hung) reminded Sammo Hung of that rule while filming "The Millionaire's Express". He played Wong Fei Hung in that movie and was defeated and captured. All of his scenes ended up cut!
